What Happens on Your Free Neurofeedback Consultation Call
If you’re here, there’s a good chance you’ve been researching for a while.
Maybe you’ve spent late nights researching anxiety or bipolar disorder to no avail. You may be tired of relying on medication for sleep problems. You’re overwhelmed and a bit discouraged. Does it have to be like this? You’ve heard about Neurofeedback, but you’re not sure it’s right for what you’re experiencing. And now you’re at the point where you’re considering reaching out, but something is holding you back.
We understand that moment.
Calling someone about something this personal is not easy. You are not just asking a question. You are opening up about your struggles, or your child’s struggles, and that takes courage. It makes sense if you have paused at that step.
Our complimentary consultation is designed to make that first step feel easier, not harder. Here’s exactly what happens when you call us about a free Neurofeedback consultation.
Who Answers When You Call
When you call us, you speak with a real person from our team who understands what you’re going through. We’re not a call center. We’re the same people who will be walking alongside you throughout this process. From that moment, we start working towards understanding your goals and exploring whether Neurofeedback is a good fit.
If we’re in session when you call, we’ll send you a quick text letting you know we missed your call and include a simple way to schedule a time that works for you. We also follow up personally to make sure you are supported.
We know your time matters, and we want that first interaction to feel clear and respectful.
What We Will Talk About
The consultation is a conversation, not a script. We start by learning about you or your loved one.
- What are you hoping to improve?
- What has been difficult lately?
- What have you already tried, and how did that go?
Many people come to us after trying multiple approaches without seeing the progress they were hoping for. Others are just beginning to explore their options. Wherever you are, we meet you there.
From there, we’ll explain how Neurofeedback works and how it might help you. We’ll help you understand the value it offers in your particular situation in a clear and easy-to-understand way. Neurofeedback is a form of brain training that helps your brain learn to regulate itself more effectively. As the brain becomes more balanced, many people notice improvements in how they feel, think and function in daily life.
We’ll also talk honestly about whether this approach makes sense for your situation, and whether we are the right team to support you. This isn’t a sales call. We’re most interested in offering you valuable information you can use to make decisions.
What We Will Not Do
There are a few things you can expect us not to do on this call.
- We do not diagnose. Our focus is on understanding your symptoms, your goals and how we can support your brain’s ability to self-regulate.
- We do not put you through complicated insurance conversations. We’ll answer your questions clearly and directly so you can make informed decisions.
- And we do not pressure you to commit. This is your space to ask questions, gather information and decide what feels right for you.
Take the time you need to talk to us. We want you to understand how and why Neurofeedback can authentically help you.
How Long Does the Call Take
The consultation is about 15 minutes. We keep it intentionally focused so that you can get the clarity you need without feeling overwhelmed or taking too much time out of your day.
What Happens After the Call
After we speak, we will send you clear next steps.
If you would like to move forward, we can help you schedule an initial evaluation. This allows us to create a personalized brain training plan based on your goals and areas you want to improve. Don’t worry, it’s not invasive and frequently offers a lot of clarity around why you might be experiencing your symptoms.
We will also send any necessary information or paperwork so you know exactly what to expect.
If you are not ready yet, that’s completely okay. Take time to think, talk it over with your family, and decide on your own timeline. Call us back if you need more help.
We Are Here When You Are Ready
Are you looking for some basic information now? Every person’s needs are unique, but we can answer some common questions we hear on consultation calls. It’s completely normal to come into the call with questions. We encourage it! Some of the most common ones we hear include:
How Much Does This Cost?
We will walk you through general cost ranges and what factors can affect your plan. Again, every person’s needs are different.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Many people start to notice meaningful improvements within 5 sessions. On average, lasting improvements can be seen within 20-30. For some, this is a stopping point, while others may wish to continue to make additional gains with the same protocol or a new protocol.
Is This for Kids or Adults?
Neurofeedback can support both children and adults, and we tailor each plan to the individual.
Will This Interfere with What I Am Already Doing?
Neurofeedback is a non-invasive approach that can often complement other forms of support you are already using.
Does Insurance Cover This?
At Emerald Coast NeuroFeedback, we work closely and directly with you, and that means we do not work with insurance.
We accept HSA, FSA, 0% interest financing, and packages for individuals and families. If you have questions about investment and options, we encourage you to bring them. This call is for you.
A Simple Next Step
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you call. This call does not obligate you to a commitment; the purpose is to provide you with valuable information to make the best decision for yourself (rather than staying up at night wondering!).
If you have been on the fence about whether to reach out, this conversation can help you move from uncertainty to clarity without pressure. If you’re ready to get started, we can help you with that as well.
