What is Neurofeedback?
Think of your brain as a race car, capable of incredible performance. Now imagine a driver behind the wheel who does not know how to properly shift gears. The race car has a driver, but the car is nowhere near optimal performance.
Neurofeedback, also known as EEG (electroencephalogram) biofeedback, is a non-invasive therapeutic intervention that provides immediate feedback from a computer-based program that assesses a client’s brainwave activity. The program then uses sound or visual signals to reorganize or retrain these brain signals.
Brainwave training teaches the brain to work at its fullest capacity and to switch gears as needed for the task at hand.
